Personally I have always been in the People business... Real Estate became a great choice for me. This makes up 90% of the business skills.

Cool. So far so good. :D
It is my parents that was involved in real estate first and I just follow their step. This was a great help for me because they ahd already paved the way for me and working in the US and Europe has helped me to familiarise with all type of markets.

Moved to Spain and found out that you can only make a good living from selling houses, so ended up working for a spanish real estate company promoting his 10 year old website that was completely out of date and needed scrapping.
Then realized that I would make even more money by doing it myself so here I am!

My dad told me to buy a condo and rent it out instead of buying this nice car I wanted. Well needless to say I didnt buy that car and im real thankfull he talked me out of it. So 3 properties later I finally bought a car.....lol.

I started a couple years ago as a mortgage LO. That line of work is very competitive and you pretty much negotiate your commissions away to keep your clients. I was in the process of getting my real estate license over the last few months I was a LO and now I havent done a mortgage in months.

With an office in the center of Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria), and after that in the internet (watching sites, making a site:) and promoting it).

It has been hard not to make money in the real estate market the last 5 years. But, me personally, I decided to get my license because it seemed natural to just do it myself after so many transactions.

i currently teach high school. im good at it, it's easy, and i enjoy it (most the time)....but im ready for a change. im tired of tardies, bringing pencils, 15 year old attitudes, and not being challenged.
i'm looking forward to what I think I can do in RE> I have more research to do before I jump in, but I think things are going to go well. hopefully i'll start pre-licensing coursework soon :)

Hello!. Real Estate is a new world to me. I´m on this because as a webmaster maybe the income is not the better. Real Estate gives you the option of making you own way to the top of business and if you do it with the ethics and moral that it is suposed to be done, you can make many people happy.
The start? SEO for Real Estate websites. At some point you find that this is very interesting and that you can do it if you want it.
There is not much to tell, because the start was this month. I´ll keep you informed in the future :).

I had a friend in college who taught me the basics of financial leverage with an Expo marker on the bathroom mirror one day in our dorm. Ever since I've been reading books and networking with people.

When I was 19 I bought my first Condo for $50,000. Mind you this was only 5 years ago. I wanted to move out of my parents house and my father said the only way you can move out is if you buy something... So, i did. I took my stocks and sold them so that I could afford the down payment and have money left over to furnish and fix up.
I sold it 1.5 yrs later and made $35,000 off the deal!! I bought another house that I lived in for 3 years and now rent out. I also have a second rental property that is currently rented. Unfortunately, I had to relocate because of my career. So, I am renting until I can find an affordable house in Hollywood, Florida.

My mom was always interested in real estate, but never pursued it as a career [she always got the homes books when they came out & would ride by places she liked and new developments to see what they looked like, but was never in a position to buy anything better than where we lived].
I sort of "inherited" this, because I did the same thing all through college and my early 20s, and ended up finding homes and parcels of land for several friends and family members by looking through the "homes" books & IDX on local websites. I had considered real estate right when i got out of college, but didn't have the money to pursue it full time, so I waited almost 3 more years until I decided to take the class to see if I'd like it, then spent several more months saving money and reading up all I could on the career before taking the exam and going to work.
