Anyone heard of one? I was just thinking that we could offer it maybe monthly in our real estate papers and have potential sellers come to learn how to dress and stage their homes. I think people would come and listen and try to learn things, dont you? Maybe get a proffessional stager, or even a decorator to come and help. We would just be there to offer any helpful real estate info. What do you think? Stupid? Already been done? any success?

Sounds like a good idea. How would you market it. Direct mail? If you have a farm that you work, this would be a solid opportunity to give back and make you appear to be the expert in a sea of agents. The trick will be getting the essage to enough people to make it worthwhile...Keep us posted. I would like to hear how it goes.

My plan would be to advertise it in our saturday real estate section. In our area everyone pretty much flips through it whether they are in the market or not!! So it would be through local newspaper advertising. I'm going to talk to my broker about it and see what he thinks!

Please let us know how it works out for you.

I'd love to hear how it goes. Good luck! Hopefully there will be a huge turnout.

Sounds like a good plan. I have done similar things through the years. You never know until you try it. Try to find a place that is free. If you don't know of a place, call the City. Lots of time they require developers to set aside community space in their developments.
