Hi guys,
My question is this....What happens if you finish the RE course, pass the test and don't have broker to work for. Does the school keep your license until you are able to find a broker to work for?

Hi guys,

Does the school keep your license until you are able to find a broker to work for?Every state can be different but I would imagine that you would be allowed so much time, one year for example, after passing the test to make application with the state for a real estate license.

I would suggest going to your State Real Estate Agency, Commission, etc., website and reviewing the licensing statues. Or, simply give them a call. It's sometimes best to get it straight from the horses mouth.

Could not agree more about asking them personally. Conflicting information can cost you time and money on this topic. Not to mention the regulations change constantly (every year) and typically effect the newly licensed more than the more established folks.
