The President's Council on Physical Fitness recomends at least three 30-minute strength-training sessions each week and at least three 20-minute bouts of cardio exercise each week. For clients who want to exercise, but have time or space constraints, here are three in-home solutions.
FOLDING EXERCISE SYSTEMS: these fit under beds or store in closets and include basic rowers, treadmills, exercise bikes, resistance bands, chin-up bars and mini trampolines.......price range $15 to $500.
CORNER-ROOM WORKOUT SYSTEMS: These typically do not get put away and offer a more complete workout, with strength and endurance exercise. Manfacturers include Bowflex, NordicTrack and Weider.....price range $200 to $1,500.
GARARGE WORKOUT SYSTEMS: Clients can install large uiversal weight machines, free weights and cardio machines, such as steppers, eliptical trainers or treadmills. Price range.....$1,200 to $5,000 +.

Sounds good. We could all use a little exercise in our busy lives.

Who needs more exercise, exercise equipment, saunas, etc. I just spend an hour or two every day, outside in 80-90 degree temperatures with jacket and long pants on, and move heavy boxes around for fun. And did I mention they are full of stinging insects? :D

This business can certainly lend itself to some bad eating habits... Not to mention bad sleeping as well! But in the end, its all what you make of it.

I set up half of my garage as a little mini-gym, if you keep your eyes open on craigslist or in the local paper you can find a lot of good deals.

I wish I had more room in my garage for exercise equipment, unfortunately there are too many toys out there. For now I will have to keep on commuting 3 minutes from my house to the gym every time I want to work out.:)

Boise, I would like some information on this equipment. I am on the Board of Directors of our HOA and trying to allocate some room in our clubhouse to fitness equipment. :)

Exercise is sooo important. I have heard about many people (friends, neighbors, etc.) lately who are having heart attacks and it scares me.
