Hello This is my first post here. I hope to be hanging out for some good advice. I have been doing virtual tours for realtors for a bit but since I moved out in the country I have decided to design a website instead. I am looking for advice on the services that realtors are looking for and the best ways to market it. I read the rules of the forum and know plugging my website is a nono so I will only be doing it once. I figured this is the only time that I should. I was hoping I could get a few people to check it out and tell me if they like the format. I have been working 15 hour days to get it set up for a month. well i think that does it. I appreciate any feedback. thanks viewablehouse.com
thanks

First of all welcome to the forum, thats a long time - 15 hour days for a month !
The site is quite plain but fresh, I like your property search results pages, but you dont want to over do the image slide shows - remember the point of your site is to sell property.
But not bad at all, should do well with it as long as you do the SEO well.

thanks for the feedback. Where do u think I am over doingthe slideshows? The search page has a slideshow search which i think is a pretty neat way to look thru listings. kind of like those tv listings that just cycle thru the listings but personalized. IF you are refering to the home page. That is just my way to have a featured prop list. As for the state pages. Right now they just have a filler slideshow. but when the site get listings it will be that states featured listings. Well i appreciate the feedback. Are you located anywhere near granada. I spent 5 months in the alpujjarras. forgive my horid spelling. Well good luck
thanks

First image and google ads loaded fast.
And then it took few seconds to load the center part.
The only issue is some people would leave your site before it is done loading.
Try to improve the site load time.
-- 1) move to a faster server
2) if the images are causing the issue, you need to make sure they are the minimum possible size.
thanks

the site looks nice... but the banner's links might be a little small... I have good eyes and and see them fine but my screen is huge too... What is the site's focus? I was not 100% on that either. Keep it growing!

once again thanks for the feedback everybody. As for the focus of the site. It is a listing service to help realtors, landlords and fsbo's manage their listings with a minimum amount of fuss. I tried to design the listing interface to be as easy as possible but with a good amount of features. I know i cant be all things to all people but i have tried my best. The fsbo listing is pretty standard in the fsbolisting world. I had too add that to get more listings on the site to increase its value to realtors and landlords. Where I think my site excels is offering realtors and landlords some pretty cool features. I have it set up to where each realtor and landlord gets a customizable home page with personal url. On this page you have a contact button (to hide your email from spammers) place to upload your logo and personal photo. Customizable photo slide show of all your listings. Also a yahoo map interface with all your listings mapped out. So a user can visit your home page and view your listings in the slideshow or scroll down the page and see all your listings on a map. you also have a button that lists all your listings in a the standard search way and a button that lists all your listings with a virtual tour. I also automatically post all the realtor and landlord listings on google base, vast, edgeio, and propsmart. I contacted the ownerof hot pads and he told me they are revamping their bulk upload interface. As soon as they finish I will be adding hot pads to the list. I think my prices are pretty reasonable. Realtors have 2 options. pay $10 a listing that is good for a year or $20 month to post unlimited listings. Landlords get the $10 listing option. I hope this explains more the focus. Once again I appreciate the feedback. keep it coming
