Just wondering. I know there are lots of things that will affect how much someone earns. I'm new, just passed the tests and wondering about alot as you might guess. I, however, find unlimited potential in myself, which I think many people truly dont when they start off. I've read the Millionaire agent book by Gary Keller and I agree with his outlooks.

So gross and net...if you care to share!

My first year (2001) as an agent generated $21K in commission.
First 6 months as part-timer, full time the next 6 months.
I was quite happy, seeing several new agents coming to my office, and disappearing after a couple of months, empty pockets...
I also saw new agent doing much more right away, usually, they had contact already.
For example, this guy leaving coast guard for RE and selling like crazy to coast guards. He had the whole coast guard contact and farming easy...

My first year 2002 -my 1099 said I made $75,000 - stayed about that until last year where it says $165,000 - still trying to figure out where it all went.

I made 19,600 my first year (my share) and I'm in Maryland. This wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either!

$75K the first year?? REALLY great...
I did C21 (65 agents), Remax (120 agents) and now CB (15 agents) and I have never, ever seen an agent doing that kind of money the first year, ever...except one person who the dad waited her to get licensed to list his $2M home...
Really good job...Congrat...
