We have just had a partner of ours that has just arrived back from north Brazil with some excellent property investments starting from only 10,000 Euros !!! Not bad, but they are only beach huts really, but I think that they could really take off.

The only bad thing was the travel, having to fly in to one main airport and then having to fly again to the destination (cant rememeber the area).

Is it still so unsecure?
My Canadian friend had a good pay job doing cellular tower in Brazil.
They moved right back home, even if they get half the salary in Canada.

hehehehe, well there are lots of neighborhoods in the US you wouldn't live either right?

But seriously, yes there are many dangerous areas there, though I have never felt in danger there. I would be more afraid in parts of Miami or NY.

However like any country there are good areas & bad.

Just have to be smart about where you buy - are you going to buy a vacation home in the middle of the worst ghetto in LA? NO!, Are there beaches there that you would love to live on? HELL YES!
