I just want to say hi, to every body. I'm new in real estate...actually in the process of taking my class to be a real estate agent through the company hopefully i will work for a long time. By the way i'm from California.
I just have a question regarding the license test.
How many questions in the test? What type of question included? And what is the whole process in taking the license.
I'm sorry for all these questions... i'm just nervous..don't know what to expect in the test and anxious to start in business.... :o

I am still one class credit away from going to exam.

Got to a point I may not get to go to that class.

Getting my 3rd kid so, kind of stopped the idea of becoming a realtor.

There is a two day exam prep class which would give you good insight about the exam. You may want to try that.

Thanks

Hey there - I got my real estate license in California - the whole process was pretty straight forward. I used an online study course and they guided me through the process. The actuall test was pretty basic too. I took mine in Fresno - went into a room with a bunch of other people and took the 100+ question test. Took about 2 hrs or something.

The way I prepared was I tried to actually learn all the different material and really take it in. Some people try to get practice answers and memorize it, and they sware by that method. I tried to learn from all the different books and sample questions I could rather than focusing on one method.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,

I used www.retrainers.com they offer a 2 day crash course and a CD that has simulated exams. If you can pass the tests on the cd you will easily pass the state exam. Hopefully this helps, where in california are you by the way

From Orange County. If i finish the 3 courses first, and then take the state exam. When can apply for the exam? I will be done by May '07.
