Hello, all!

We have a website that caters to the mature real estate buyer - WhereToLiveAfter50.com (http://wheretoliveafter50.com)

It serves as a directory for people over 50 and their families who are looking for retirement communities, senior friendly housing, assisted living, etc. We hope to learn new techniques and find new ways to promote our site, as well as share many of the things we have learned as well.

I have a long history in real estate. I am a former, very successful realtor and currently own one of the most successful real estate publication franchises in the country. My business partner is a talented and experienced web developer and programmer. Together we make a great team that is willing to learn and eager to contribute to this community.

Let the fun begin!

Welcome Tara (from the Chicago area-where it was 65-70 degrees on Sunday and now is snowing like crazy). I had a chuckle since even though I'm over 50 I don't feel it (& people in dark places assure me I don't look it) & I didn't realize I deserved a special website for people in my age group - LOL!

Unfortunately, with my crazy family I'll be a lot older before I can live in an adult community since I still have 2 adult children (one just came back after 11 yrs. with her own daughter who is 2 1/2 yrs., who I'm now helping to raise). My youngest son, 21, swears he'll never leave home and I believe him.

Welcome Tara, I am sure with your vast experience in real estate and marketing, we all will learn a great deal from. This real estate forum will be very different from other forums you may have visited in the past. We are all about sharing ideas and helping eachother grow in our marketing and business practices in real estate. I hope we will all be able to see you here quite often and I personally will look forward to what you have to say on the real estate forum. Welocme aboard.

Las Vegas today it was in the 80s, this is great golf weather.. with nice weather like this all the home buyers are wanting to get out and look more to.
