These days you can buy electronic signature pad that hooks up via USB for $120.
I am on this kick to keep my contracts as high quality as possible and I'm curious what anyone knows of the legality of these things. I would love to meet a client at a coffee shop and have them go through the contract on my laptop sign everything and email them a security certified .PDF file. By the way if you don't own acrobat pro get it it's an incredible tool for contracts.
