Hello everyone! I'm new on this forum and currently taking classes to get my real estate liscense. I would like to know if there are any companies that are known for having good training programs for new agents? I would also like to know what I should really look for in choosing a sponsoring broker.

Thanks,
exacto

Training is key for success or failure.
The franchise does not train, the broker or manager does.
So check what the broker or manager can do for you.

Not enough posts here to place live link, but here's an article on the subject of choosing a broker.

There are a lot of things to consider. A good training program is very important, but also look for an a company that has a good marketing program, professional marketing peices, and a good reputation in the community they serve. You haven't established a reputation in the market yet so look for a company with a good reputation.

Also take into consideration the type of relationship you think you would have with the broker and other agents in the office. Some offices can be very nice places to work where the agents all get along, but some can be not so nice.

Also to consider: How many floor shifts will you get per month, how many opportunities will you have to sit open houses, how many listings does the office have, are the listings in market that you want to serve, how do you advance to the next commission level? etc.
