interested in real estate

Hello. I am majoring in accounting and have been planning on becoming a CPA. But I am not sure if that is what I want to get into or not. The two things I am really interested in are the stock market and real estate. But I dont know enough about real estate to switch majors (partly because my college doesnt offer a real estate major). However, I live near St Cloud State University in Minnesota, and they offer real estate as a major. Can anybody offer me any advice as to what websites show the different jobs in the real estate industry, the salarys, the demand, etc? I am interested in becoming a realtor or something along those lines. Thank you.

Great resources for the novice! Much appreciated and I would definitely recommend this reading to those who have questions similar to mine (pretty much anything to do with getting started in real estate).

It doesn't take a whole lot to get into real estate. Take your classes online and then find a broker that is willing to give you some good training. Within a year you will be successful as long as you find a good broker.

You might also think about starting real estate on the side part time and then go full time later.
