Is anyone familiar with this market? I'm basically a total noob waiting for prices to drop before buying my first house. I'm in the process of reading "Home Buying for Dummies" but I can only speculate of the markets drop in the near future. Any advice or input is appreciated thanks.

Are you looking for Real Estate in Hawaii in particular? or can it be another destination, if you like the beach investment also try "gold coast" (Australia) just like hawaii but in Australia, a very popular surfing destination in the world. Also try Property in Thailand, perhaps Bangkok Condominiums!
