Glad to be joining this forum. I've been licensed since 1983 and actually work in a Chicago suburb, Oak Lawn.
I am currently suffering from changing my domain name and finally got my site cached under the new name in MSN & Google. Even reclaimed my #1 position in MSN under a few different search terms. Went from #1 to #6 in Yahoo but they still have me under my old domain name.
Lost all my Google PR and am waiting for the next Google PR update. It's tough exchanging links with sites that have PR requirements. I'll just have to be patient.

Don't worry too much about it, there are plenty of sites that aren't narrow minded when it comes to link exchanges! After all, the pr 0 sites of today are tomorrow's pr 4 & 5's. Welcome to the forum. :)

Amen, Jade!
I wouldn't worry about PR at all but only look at the quality of the site, if you think they're going places, they're worth being linked to :)
You gotta go with the times, otherwise you'll be passed by ;)
Nice to see all the states come together,
Mike
Welcome Judyo!

Hi judyo,
Welcome to the forum!
I may be able to exchange some links. I don't put that much stock in PR anymore.
Did you start a new thread in the Real Estate Link Exchanges (http://www.national-real-estate-directory.com/real-estate-forum/forumdisplay.php?f=156) section?

Hi Judy and welcome from San Diego!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. This year has started out great here in the Chicago area. I'm aiming for my best year ever. The area where I work, in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, is still a very affordable area, especially for a location so close to a major city.

Because my site is a limited template site I'm only going to have a small link campaign for it. It was my first site that I've learned a lot playing around with & I'd almost toss it but I've had first place posiitions in MSN & Google for quite some time. However, I recently changed my domain name & lost position in Google, from #1 to #6. And it's still showing my old domain name. Does anyone know why? I have a permanent 301 redirect from the old one to the new one.
I do need someone from Las Vegas on my relo page, though, so maybe you can help me out.
I'm slowly creating my 2nd & 3rd website experiments and the 2nd one isn't live yet but I better get it going since it will be sandboxed. I'm still trying to figure out what to use as my domain name so I don't have to change it like I did with my lst site. I'm making it harder than it should be!
