Hey……..have you heard about the NY Times Small Business Summit on 9/14 in NYC? I went last year & they had some really great speakers. The lineup looks even better this year. It’s only $149…definitely worth checking out… go to NYTimes' website and then add "bizsummit" to the end.

At least that's where http://www.nytimes.com/bizsummit takes you. It doesn't appear that they have any information for 2007 yet.

Start with the Better Business Bureau first, I think it is free. Also, check out the Small Business Administration in your state that is a great resource too.

The BBB is free from my experience in the past in several states. I dont know about the SBA but I would assume its the same.
