Co-ownership in Nevada

Hi everyone,

Okay one of my friends was asking me if he could be a co-owner on a property with his cousin. The property was owned by his parents (he lived with his parents) but they filed for bankrupcty and his cousin bought it. Can he do it if he has the same address as his parents? Thanks.

even if the cousin has a mortgage on the propety. ownership and liability are two different animals. He can put as many people as he wants
hes the only one responcible for the payment when #&$^ hits the fan.
The smart thing would have been, they should have done ownership at the
closing. It would have saved them some filing fee's.
