How is the market in Riga and some of the outlying areas?

My Mom's side of my family is all from Latvia, I think Kukas, Jekabpils...I've never been, but I hear it is absolutely beautiful.

Latvia is a Baltic State located next to Lithuania and Estonia. It was under Russian rule from WWII until, I believe, 1991 when it regained its independence. Riga is the capitol city.

From what I understand, Latvia real estate has been pretty hot lately.
