I'm pretty green at this. i'm about to wrap up my last class before applying for the licensing exam. I'm also looking at interviewing with various agencies, and would like some pointers: (do's and don'ts such as it is)
specific questions are the following:
how do you get the interview? do you cold call? show up? apply online?
is it appropriate to ask questions re: fees (referral, marketing, training, e/o, desk/office, commission splits, etc)? i would never have done this when applying for any other position within my chosen career path...
do you have to purchase your own signs or are they provided?
what's the most effective way to get started, once established with a brokerage, with very little money?
