What do you guys think, would a classified section be good or would it invite too much spam?

Feel free to vote, post and PM me your thoughts

BTW I may need some help to implement it :)

I wonder if folks will look at it? Plus you want to be sure it doesn't turn into a spam magnet. And for someone like me who is starting doing affiliate marketing it doesn't help without a link that allows me to get paid so.... how can it be done to allow an outlet without over doing it? will people look at it or not... see with my stuff no biggie the less of you that uses it the less work I have to do to my real Estate sites to keep up ;). But if you do hey it buys my kids pizza and a movie ;)

Stay tuned :DI hate it when you tease us like that Mike.

Now the suspense is killing me.

As for the classifieds, if we do implement it, I would make it for Members only, and maybe even require “Top Floor” Membership.

That would stop any fly-by-night spammers! ;)

I agree, a minimum post requirement. And if they are spammers, they will show their true colors in the posts anyways.

Trust me, I've been in forums for a looooooooooong time

I agree a classified section for real estate would be great, Top floor members could post their properties for sale and we could add it as a sub Cat for the states. I like it and I also like to be teased hehe, I am still young enough to enjoy that where Vegasmack is in that over the hill stage LOL.

I thought I was post a little response to get this thread back to the top. I am really interested in seeing if this type of area would help all of us with our real estate listings, plus any type ads that we could place in there to inform consumers that I am sure will be visiting this forum.

What does it take to be a top floor member.???
Otherwise I would assume there would be a flood of newbies like myself.

Why not, they aren't building any more land!!!

To become a top floor member not only will take a certain amount of post but also will be determined by your contribution level on the forum. With what we plan on offering on this forum, is something that isnt presently offered by any other forum related to real estate. Just keep coming to the forum and contributing and I am sure you will become a top floor member. BTW what company do you work for in Las Vegas.

Howdy again LVH,
I am pretty bummed my responses have not come back to me from the forum.
Sorry I didn't see your post till now... Anyways, I work with Custom Home Loans. They are booming here in Vegas. I left Direct Access Lending after 2 years just because Custom H.L. is banking with Countrywide, New Century, Suntrust, and a few others. Just makes my job a lot easier, and me more effective. This company has their stuff together I am real lucky to be a part of it.
Take care,
Dustin
