I know MSN doesnt give my trafic but is anyone else seening major drops for there custom sites while Point2Agent and Z57 sites are climbing quickly in MSN? It just doesnt make any sense to me. I tried to make a couple blogger posts to see if that would help but so far (day 2) it hasnt really helped at all. If anyone has any advice or comments I would love to hear them.

My site is an AA site, but nothing of AA is left...100% custom CSS at this point. Sloppy CSS as I did all the coding, but it still is nothing like a normal AA site. With all that said I am still #1 for my main terms...no changes at all.
BTW, Don't think that 2 posts in a blog will make any difference in your ranking overnight.

MSN is still making small adjustments to their algorithm. Just you have seen in MSN that with the newer blogs the actual result you are achieving in regard to rankings is not actually showing the blog, but the website that is related to that blog.
The same exists with point2agent.com websites. The difference with a point2agent website and an AA site or homes.com site, all sites sit on the same underlying domain. This means that in some instances with point2agent sites are viewed as one website by the search engines which gives them additional rankings in some areas.
Z57 also has structured their website differently from the other templated companies in regard to the default navigation buttons. You will notice with Z57 websites, they have the defualt geographic area of the agent built into the navigation buttons which due to the website codign structure shows above the center content. For example, you may have a graphical button that says search for homes, but hte title tag associated with that button will read "city" search for homes. This has helped Z57 in regard to ranking for one particular term.
Overall however, these sites may rank for one term, but they won't get the multiple additional terms you recieve by having a custom website.
Hope this helps.

I was #4 for "Savannah Real Estate," but have fallen away...

I find that the activity of a couple blog posts in addition to forum posts and normal linking building helps to bring me back in MSN. MSN is starting to be a reminder that there is still a lot of work to be done in order to get and keep good ranks in the search engines.

I have noticed the same thing...just make some minor adjustments...add a little content and I jump quickly in MSN.

It seems like MSN is indexing new content and inbound links really quickly. I have some new content that went from zero visibility to #3 in two weeks. I did a ton of posting in a variety of forums so I think that had a lot to do with it.

I think I am going to try to add a couple pages of content see if that helps any with MSN. The problem is basically that I dont know how to program and it gets expensive quick.

I am having all kinds of issues regarding ranking which have me concerned... my yahoo page that I created was doing better quicker than my "professional page" is doing.... I really like my page... but my concerns are growing and with that it is costing me about 100 times more.

I am concerned as well. I was basially first in Yahoo and MSN for my keywords and waiting for google. I am now worse off then after the initial launch of my site. I am starting to have serious doubts about the whole project.

I haven’t notice any change my rankings in msn. I am still in the top spot of google & msn. I have noticed Yahoo has done something to their search engine. They have no local web sites at the top of the first page for the term la grande real estate. I was in first position in yahoo. Not sure when yahoo will have the local real estate web sites back at the top of the page.
