Hi,
I was number #1 pretty much from the launch of this site and suddenly I droped to #2. Does anyone have any ideas as to why or what I should do to get back to #1.
Thx in advance.

I have been #1 on MSn for Jupiter real estate for months and then last week I went to # 43. So #2 isn't bad,. I wish I knew why too.

MSN has been all over the place for most of the sites that I work with. The good and the bad is that there's not much traffic regardless (so you're not really losing alot when you drop) and they always seem to come back to the original positions or pretty close with no adjustments.
Stick to optimizing for Google, IMO, and MSN will sort itself out.

MSN's as crazy unpredictable as other search engines, but it does tend to bounce back. And number 2 is indeed not bad!

My website and blog also dropped off the front page of MSN recently. Hopefully once my custom site is up, my rankings will improve!

Pretty much the reason for your rank decrease is the old contents. MSN focus on the new contents
Also try building some more link to your webiste...

Can you tell me the truth this is what I have discovered with MSN they rank the newest sites at top as compared to the older one . But they consider the back links also ..

here http://uk.loanskey.com is mine and is a new websites with some good backlinks but not huge.
when the contenst get older it start switching down as i change the contents of the homepages it again pop up to top
Sorry, but that's just wrong.

I know nothing, and didn't look, at your example. I do know, however, that with my sites fresh content has nothing to do with it... or at least a lot less than the links to the site and the quality of the on page stuff.

Cedar City,
I am not sure how MSN.com tracks sites. I noticed that one my older web site dropped from #1 to #2. I have 1,067 back links to the #1 that has 14. I also have tons of content on my site and the other one has very little. Just hard to figure it out how this happens. Not sure what is up with MSN.
