I am finishing up a conversion and complete overhaul of www.wayneandfriends.com from a Charleston to a Vegas Real Estate site.
It is a work in progress, but any suggestions or comments about design, layout or colors would be appreciated.

The site looks clean and easy to navigate, I would create a banner or icon that says search all availble listings for free, and have it connect to the mls/idx search. Make it easy to see, i think people will be drawn to it. overall the site looks good,
STVP late

On my Firefox browser, I see dots going across to the right handside of your pages.
I think it is the site navigation section and it's too long in Firefox. Don't know how it looks in IE.
You may want to check it out.
Good luck...

VM,
Your site tells very little about you personally.... I would like to know who you are and a little about your background ( I know about you Wayne, but visitors don't). My experience, clients always seem to want to be able to find information out about their realtor, especially if you are marketing your website to out of town buyers. In town, everyone will know who you are, outside the area, you need to give them some info. It is usually outside of a 50 mile radius that this becomes important.

However this is really not intended to be Wayne’s site anymore. It is now going to be a Team site. The Advantage VIP Team site. Wayne’s personal site is Las Vegas Real Estate (http://www.las-vegas-homefinder.com/).
As mentioned before, this is still very much a work in progress and I will be adding area information.
Thank you for your input Canadian Realtor!

That was a very good suggestion Canadian Realtor, We will have our team agents write a bio that we will place on all the websites. You are correct however that people / consumers want to know a little about who they are dealing with.

Can I ask a question? The site requires registration in order to complete a listing search which is available at many sites w/o registration. Have you found this effective. Perhaps its just me, but I won't waste time registering at a site until I see what it has to offer. On the other hand if I do use your site and you have made it easy for me by not putting up a roadblock you will be my first choice for my busness.

I do agree with San Diego Real Estate (http://www.national-real-estate-directory.com/real-estate-forum/member.php?find=lastposter&f=65) recommendation via PM of a shorter form.
That’s for the input frobn!

Quick critique as viewed through Mozilla Firefox at 1024x768:
Colors & contrast a bit harsh - consider darkening header and sidebar to dark red as in the body background and perhaps changing the remaining white background to the orange?
Page to Wide - causing horizontal scrollbar
Top nav buttons - perhaps add a few more or remove altogether?
Footer Misplaced - showing misalignment with left bar graphic.
Otherwise looks great! :)
