Hello, please review my site and suggest new possible functions, so I could add them:

Estaplace - Real Estate Listings. (http://www.estaplace.com)

The site has a listing directory with listings divided by country, region, types, sites, there is a newsgroup section where it is possible to search newsgroup messages, there is an article section, a section for real estate agency profiles, and a web directory with selected links.

Hi xuncoder,

Welcome to REF.

About your site... I have a pretty fast connection at home (1056K) and your site took quite a while to load. Anyone with dial-up (yes, there are still a few unlucky souls out there using dial-up) would most likely have moved on to the next site vs. waiting for that to load.

Thanks for the signalation, I have a 4 megabits ADSL connection, :D, however I know with the 56k it could be slow, but I cannot understand the reason you see the site slow with 1 megabit...

I had a 1 megabits until some days ago, and I didn't see any problem, I can only suppose it is a problem of distances. The server with the site is located in Italy, maybe connections between the server and your location aren't too good.

This is the possible reason, However I just decided to move all in USA, for now I will not fix this problem, but the next year when my site will start to earn, I will expatriate in USA, and I will open a company there, and I will transfert all my sites on USA connetivity, that will resolve the problem one time for all, and I will save a lot of money also!

It may have been a glitch. Today it only took about 5-7 seconds to load every last picture.

xuncoder,

Your home page is tooooooo busy. It's neither attractive to the visitors nor to the bots (with way over 100 links).

Moving some of the listings into internal pages will definitely help. Also, you may wish to consider simplifying your menus as well.

Good luck with the site.

Wow! The home page is soooooo busy with all those photos and blue links I got a headache! Surprisingly, it did load quickly. But I couldn't wait to click off it. It doesn't look very professional to me & doesn't offer easy navigation because there's just so much all over the place.

Agreed. Moreover, it does not have a natural flow to me. I would have to look a while to find where I was going. Possibly too long.

I will say the longer I stayed the more interested in the content I was...I started thinking vacation in Brazil- and found a perfect unit for it!
