Heaven help me with this test. I take it tomorow morning in Fresno, Is it really that bad? I've been scared to death by all the trainers that i have spoken with, i have studied as much as i possibly can.
Im just hoping to get into real estate running rather than back peddling. LOL.

Great forum, Im happy to be a part of it.

Good Luck taking the exam. I have found that in the past that the test is what you make of it. (I have taken it in 3 states and passed). If you study and use your common sense, you should pass.

Even if you don't pass the first time, you will know what to expect the second time and if you are serious about getting your license, you will pass.

Good Luck

I was so nervous before I took my test. It had been a long time since I had taken a test, and I thought I had forgotten how.

I studied and fretted and studied and fretted...

And then when the day came and I was the first to finish in a large group of people, I looked around and said to myself, "Am I really done? There must be something wrong, no one else is getting up".

So I went thru the test again to make sure I hadn't skipped something and sure enough, I had done it all.

It sounds like you have been studying, working hard and really focusing, so don't waste time being nervous. Your efforts will pay off. Just relax and be confident that you will breeze through and soon, you'll get that license in the mail!

Nickie, Pheonix, Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

You bet i'll be on here often, I cant wait to get started. I am just waiting for the paperwork to go through and i'm OFF.

We're going to work for a local Century 21 office where we took our initial real estate classes from. We knew a Realtor in that office already because she actually listed and sold our rental property for us.
I had a ton of questions while working with her, and she was the one that recommended we might really like this career. The more information i got out of her the more me and Helen (my wife) realized we really did like the sounds of this type of career. She also is one of the top performers in our area, and she offered to help get us started, and said even more importantly that the broker in that office is a straight shooting honest guy that doesnt put up w/ any shady things. That made me feel very comfortable because this is a business we really dont know anything about, so if i do something wrong, he sounds like a detail oriented person that will catch it, and have a good eye on me rather than letting me fall and use my net everytime.

I just cant wait, i've never been this excited about any type of 'job'. Just the thought of getting out there really makes me want to be doing this already. She also warned me that you have to push push push your name out there, it's going to be hard to get started, and it's not going to be overnight. She said we need to understand 80 percent of new comers in that office dont make it past 3 months, alot of them have no drive and think that leads just come to you - and that is NOT the case what so ever.
So she really laid out the good and bad, she said it was a profitable rewarding career if you're willing to make it that way for yourself. If you're not, dont bother to start the classes because we wont make it.

Ok enough babbling!

Cliffs notes: WE'RE EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Thanks again guys!
