Hey Guys and Gals,

If you don't already know, The Real Estate Forum (http://www.realestateforum.com/) is now using WordPress for their free real estate blogs and it works much better than the old ones!

See mine here: Phoenix Real Estate News (http://arizona.realestateforum.com/phoenix/mpellerin/)

PM "Cheif Tutor" to get started, or to set up your old blog here with the new WordPress software. They have a ton of skins to choose from so try to be original and pick something other than the one I chose if you can. Thanks.

Here is the link to the REF real estate blogs (http://www.realestateforum.com/blogs.html) intro page.

I noticed that ALL of the other blogs are using the old software... yuck! I also noticed that there is a picture not showing at the above link to the index page for all REF real estate blogs, could we get an admin to fix that? Maybe even spice that page up a bit and link to it from one other place in addition to the homepage of REF under the "free real estate blogs" catagory?

TO: REF developers - Smart move! Realy smart idea too - now you need to promote it otherwise you'll be too late.

OK Ok....we have it on our development list for tomorrow to clean up what we have and to put together some little promotion plan to get thinkgs rocking.

And then???

I still see the missing pictures on the real estate blog index page. No changes anywhere actually.

Folks, the ones that are up have a PR 3/10 already with virtually no work done to them, imagine if you got one and actually used it! I am just beginning to use mine, so I hope the next toolbar update is good to me PR wise. :D

We got into it last week and the more we looked at it, the more we wanted to do. So as a first step we are building a new page for the directory.

Don't have a live date yet, but it is on the development schedule and I don't imagine it will be more than a week or so before we put the new pages live.

I will keep you posted.

Does this mean you'll be pulling the old format blogs, or converting them. I'm kinda keen to keep the pt chevalier one going but won't mind if you drop it altogether.

it's getting spammed to hell though and it's a menace to maintain so I'd appreciate the old one being dropped so I don't get the comment posted emails at the very least.

thanks

Sarah

Gang, you need to run the blog installs again. Looks like any old guy can come in and take over the blogs you had previously setup at this point. Just an FYI
