Jiany, what a change! Love your new site, particularly when you allow owners to post their home sale. Smart move. Congrats!

HEll Max Thanks
I wanted to ask if you don't mind. At first glance did www.RealEstateResell.com look like a professional website? By that I mean if you had to post your property would you trust it.
Also I do not have much properties there now, that can be bad. Someone might realize that this is not a good site due to the fact that not many properties are there.
How and what do you think I can do to increase the amount of subscribers and to optimize it?
Thanks
judyo

Jiany,
The site looks good but I did notice at least one typo in your bottom intro paragraph (the word "and" typed twice, side by side). The wording was a bit rough, too, IMO.
Also, I noticed that you cannot see one property or do anything without having to register first. Most surfers are going to shy away from that.
I wouldn't want to enter a listing until I could see how the page is set up. What does it look like? You show no samples or anything.
I would think you'd need to offer at least one home to view before making them register, or something to make them feel comfortable enough to register.

Judyo
Thank you much for your comments. Very good points there, your right!
So you think I should let the clinet view all the listings without having to register?
Anything else
Your comments are well appriciated.

I'm not sure what your ultimate goal is with this site. But requiring all to register before they get to see anything almost sounds like you're trying to capture leads to sell. Kind of like Homegain or others.
If that's not what you're trying to do then I wouldn't make viewers register. In fact, you shouldn't make a person wanting to list a property register the way you currently have it.
Ease them into registering when they fill out your form while they're adding their property. IOW, if you want their name & e-mail address make that a requirement of their adding the listing. But just have it on the listing form, not immediately before the form is even provided.

Jiany,
Yes, you site looks very professional. And I agree with Judy 100%. I find that registration turn many people off. Their objective of coming to your web site is to search for property, not checking the weather. When you're competing on the web, there're lots of other people who offer home search without registration. Unless your site has something very special to offer that the users can't live without, you might find people leaving your site quickly. All you need to do is to check your site stats and see how many people arriving at your site and actually stay there. The answer will be right there whether you should have registration or not.
Hope this helps.

Hey Max
You guys are right. Im in the proces of taking the registration off.
You mentioned that unless I got something to capture the customer, they won't stay. Beside taking the registration form out upon arriving on the site, what would make you want to stay in a Real Estate Web Site?
I though I would have infomation regarding investments and other programs, but what elso comes to mind?
Thanks

Is this website for realtors or for those trying to sell home themselves?

Hello Bmegowan
This site is for anyone trying to sell their residential or commercial real estate. But My idea was to get someone from every state and co operate, so any leads or deals that come from that state, the member within that state gets the lead.
See each members will each have acess to add new pages and ideas to optimize the site. What do you think ?

Nice design, good navigation structure.
Registration is a definite problem, users are wary of giving out information due to current spam problems.
I would recommend that you put javascript in an external directory and refer to it rather than leavee all the code in beginning html. This code jumbles the weight and prominence of any keywords in your meta tags (which you definitely need to add) and body content.
In addition you should add "alt" tags and link descriptors. This will help in aquiring keyword weight and density.
Hope this helps.

I really like the idea of the ability for FSBO's or anyone to post to your website. I have been working on something similar. Just have'nt put in motion yet. One thing you could do is have the listings visible to surfers without registration, but limit the info such as just the city or area (or something like that). Then have your interested party register to receive detailed listing info.
I will keep my eye on it. I think it is a great idea. Good Luck!
Is there any implied liability with people posting their homes or listings on your site?

The link doesn't work for me (using Firefox). Takes me to the root directory with just folders.
Is this site still up?

Hi EJOURNEY
The site is not up. The programers are from India. They canceled my site before I copied it. Buch of crooks. Cut the site off.
Sorry.
That stinks. I had that happen to me once. I was using a company that will remain nameless and I had 3 sites end when they shut down. A coworker of mine who was a novice webdesigner helped me get my sites hosted on websparrow.com. So far no problems. The even promise a 99.9% up time.
I never got to see your site, but I like the idea of having a registration section. My sites are of course to caputre leads so it is a must. On my PPC hits before anyone does a thing on my site they have to log in and provide name, email, ph# and desired home location. About 25% of the visitors do the other 75% don't. When I did not use this technique only about 15% of the visitors would actually contact me. I ended up losing 75% of my visitors however in the end I nearly doubled my leads. Plus I saved wasted bandwidth.
Thanks and good luck.
