Default I Can't Believe It, But It's True Truila is Hijacking Agent's Content

    http://www.inman.com/news/2008/05/5/...ies-catch-heat

I am just angry I cant believe that Truila is doing this they are making all links to broker and agent sites 302 redirect. Read the two links below if you dont know what a 302 redirct is.

    http://www.loriswebs.com/hijacking_web_pages.html

    http://clsc.net/research/google-302-page-hijack.htm

Many sites right now are starting to use nofollow links and to a certain extent I can understand this but what Truila is doing is just absolutely wrong. Truila's use of the 302 redirect code is not just preventing link juice from being passed on to backlinks it is also causing any page that this link goes to count as their original content. Thats right they are ineffect taking credit for any of your content that these links go out to. As that is how the three big search engines (Google, Yahoo, and MSN) view this form of link. This link says that the content it goes to has been moved to the page that holds the link.

All of us agents need to make sure that everyone knows that this is what is going on. As long as Truila uses this code we should all stop posting to their site and we should delete any links we have going out to them. Please help spread this knowledge around. Lets not take it laying down. Dont let Truila steal agents data on hard earned listings or any other valuable information that our hard earned experience has granted us.

I am curious as to how people feel about this because it has really upset me. I would like it if people would give me their take on it.
