Referral Competition:
Every month we will compete who refers the highest amount of members
Since this is our first time, we will end this month with the overall amount of members referred.
Once you won, your amount of referrals will be recorded and you have to start over from 0 for the next month
You will be listed on the bottom of ever page of this forum. A link to your site and your name and maybe a one liner about your business with your phone number.
let's see what you've got!
make sure to let your friends know that they need to put your user ID under "referrer" in order for it to be recorded correctly, otherwise I'll need to backtrack and you guys know how long that can take
Any questions? Post them here
Let's rock!
Mike

As for the prize. Are we all quite sure this really is worth anything?
1st, we all know site wides are not valued as highly as a few well placed links.
2nd, aren't they temporary? And if I have that right, then isn't there a chance of retribution from the SE's when the links dissappear? Possibly not helping us at all when the links are placed, but maybe even hurting our positions in the SE's once the links vanish.
Do I have it all wrong here? Someone, please show me the value of temporary, site wides. Thank you.Matt Pellerin, A Phoenix Realtor

The links if I understand Mike correctly would be for a period of 1 year. Then the winner next April say, would replace this year

Maybe ten, well placed links... say one on the HP, one on the intro page http://www.national-real-estate-directory.com/ and so on. This also would make it easier to deal with when they are gone.
Somehow I missed the 12 month part. Didn't get much sleep last night, so...Matt Pellerin, A Phoenix Realtor

Ah-ha...
So, Mike, there never was mention of length of time for the links/gifts to be up and running.
Glad to hear clarification. Now to get more people to sign up than everyone else... I need to get to work.Matt Pellerin, A Phoenix Realtor

The more people participate, the more incoming links will come in and we will improve strength in all major search engine, we will be able to carry those sites with all the growing weight.
