If your interested in having a real estate website with video, investigate WordPress and Revver. Revver has a plugin for WordPress. I have tried it and its very easy to use. If anyone needs help with it, I can help.

Does anyone have experience doing virtual tours themselves? What's been the experience doing virtual tours quickly and cheaply on your own?

If you have a digital camera, I suggest just taking a walk through with the video portion of the camera. We do it all the time. Infact, every open house we do we walk through the unit, do a little tour, post it on youtube, write a blog about it and mass e-mail it to our entire database of buyers and sellers.
