It is very true that you can repair your credit on your own but I have done it and it is a very lengthy process. I would much rather pay someone else to do it for me. Besides there are many credit repair places that work with realtors and collection agencies that are able to get things removed quickly to qualify for a mortgage. I don't think that can be accomplished on your own.
